Aromas of ripe plum, dark chocolate, toast and blackberry. Rich, with evolved tannins. There is enough acid to balance the weight, but this is a full-bodied wine. Pronounced blackberry, sultana raisin and red plum flavours, along with toffee, sweet vanilla and evolving tertiary and savoury notes.. This is a complex, contemplative wine, but can be enjoyed as a smooth, big and bold winter sipper. Pair with roast lamb, brisket or hearty stews.
