Favourite Movies: (How can you pick just ONE?!?) Shrek, Thelma & Louise, The Princess Bride

Favourite Wine Experience: Cycling through the Côte du Rhône region of France with my father in the spring of 1990. After a picnic lunch on the galets roulés of a Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyard, we very carefully teetered off to our B&B to sleep off our midday indulgence.

Alisa Wing

Favourite Movie:  Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Favourite Wine Experience: While working at a previous agency, we took a road trip to New York State to visit Dr. Konstantin Frank Winery. We stayed in a beautiful country inn and sat outside on the top of a hill at sunset, overlooking a vineyard – we just sat there quietly, enjoying a glass of wine. It is a stunningly beautiful area and I would love to go back sometime!

Favourite Movie: A tie between Vertigo and North by Northwest

Favourite Wine Experience: Touring through Alsace with my now wife, Deb.  It’s a wine region that I had long loved, and spending time there only reinforced that feeling.  Bucolic villages, the omni-present Vosges mountains, great food and of course, wonderful wines.  I will be back!

Marc Mougenot

Sales (Greater Toronto Area)

Marc grew up in a family of cooks, where the ingredients for many memorable meals came from home gardens.  No doubt this influenced his path. His first career was in Urban Planning. It was only after entering cooking school that he recognized wine as something other than an inexpensive social drink. The ensuing years – which included time as a restaurant proprietor – were intense and rich. And his fascination with wine continued to ferment. Today, he is privileged to work with creative restaurants providing wines that come from an always evolving and infinite world. Marc leads our On-Premise sales in the Greater Toronto Area.

Jordan Pizzuti

Sales (Ottawa)

With over ten years of experience as a mixologist, a wine lead and a bar manager, Jordan has a passion for the hospitality industry. He is also an Ottawa hospitality promoter and writer and has completed WSET 2. His preferred wine style is eclectic, unique and fun, which is ultimately what led him to join the Buyers+Cellars Ottawa On-Premise sales team in November 2025.

Favourite Movie: Anything by Wes Anderson

Favourite Wine Experience: Starting my collection of global wine keys.

Veronique Savoie

Sales Ottawa

Veronique joined our On-Premise sales team in Ottawa in November 2025 after spending more than 20 years in the restaurant industry, mostly in casual fine dining. as a wine buyer and bar manager. She is well connected with Ottawa’s hospitality community and has completed WSET 2 & 3 along with courses in French and Northern Italian wines. With a last name like Savoie, wine appears to be in her blood!

Favourite Movie: So many to choose from, but a few top contenders are A Beautiful Mind and Jojo Rabbit (I love dark comedy)!

Favourite Wine Experience: In 2018, I was in Burgundy with two of my closest friends. During a tasting at a charming boutique estate, we mentioned it was my friend’s birthday. The owner smiled, disappeared for a moment and returned with a 1988 GrandsÉchézeaux — he not only let us taste it, he sent us home with the bottle! Moments like that remind me that wine is meant to be shared, and sharing such a special bottle with two dear friends remains one of my happiest wine memories.
