Pretty, bright cherry-red colour. Expressive and lively on the nose with appealing aromas of ripe red and dark fruit (cherry, blueberry, blackberry). Hints of toast and spice from a brief period in oak lend additional depth and refinement. Medium-bodied yet well-proportioned. The palate is soft, fresh, balanced and approachable. Generous and rounded with lively acidity and silky, polished tannins. An incredibly versatile food companion. Serve very slight chill (14°C to 16°C) with aged Manchego, Spanish tapas, roast chicken or grilled sausage.
