A pale ruby colour, the wine has more heft than the pigment would tell you. Sour cherry, pomegranate, scrub brush and cranberry on the nose. The cherry, cranberry and blueberry fruit on the palate is bright and elevated, with a wild, untamed savoury element. There are some subtle tannins but balance here comes from the acids and tartness. This is a wine that does well with a light chill, pairing with burgers, sausages or planked salmon.
